I will be at the Wausau Farmer’s Market this Saturday, and am accepting orders. Please peruse my site to see all the available products to choose from. I will have a variety of breads, including Swedish Rye, Whole Wheat Flax and Honey Oat. I will also have fresh scones, pastry, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, kolaches, cookies and bagels. Make sure to reserve what you want ahead of time as everything sells quickly. I will be at the market by 8 a.m. and will stay until I sell out which is usually at 10:45. All orders need to be picked up by 10:30, unless you make special arrangements with me.

My mother-in-law will also be at the market this week with freshly picked green onions, cilantro, mustard greens, lettuces, pea tips, and garlic. If you have never tried pea tips, (she picks the tip of the snow pea plants just before its flowers open) I recommend you give them a try this season. These are my all-time favorite vegetable. You can sautee them or eat them fresh in a salad. They taste sweet like peas, but have the texture of spinach.
